Riyadh: The Governor of Assir Region, Prince Khalid Al Faisal, also chairman of the King Faisal Foundation, yesterday called on the youth leaders and scout captains to play an active role in combating terrorism. He also urged them to be exemplary models and ideal Muslims in all walks of life. Speaking to a group of scout unit chiefs from various parts of the kingdom, Prince Khalid said that they can play a creative role in preventing youths from being lured to deviant thoughts. "We won't get respect from anybody through ... terror acts .... holding fast to the religion of Islam and behaving ... in the best manner in line with the Islamic principles is the ideal way to be followed by everyone of us," he said. Prince Khalid also expressed happiness over the success being made by the kingdom in its fight against terrorism.
