Jeddah: An emergency session of the foreign ministers of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference member countries will be held at the OIC headquarter here next Saturday.
The meeting will examine repercussions of Israeli aggressions in the Palestinian territories, especially the massacre in Beit Hanun in the Gaza Strip last week, OIC said. It may also discuss ways to support the Palestinian people.
The decision to convene an emergency session follows a telephone conversation between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and OIC Secretary-General Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
