Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, awarded the Ajman football team Dh4 million for winning promotion to the professional league in the coming season.
Shaikh Humaid, who received the players and club officials at the Emiri court in Ajman, praised the good efforts of the club president, board members, players and technical staff that resulted in the team winning promotion.
Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, also attended the reception.
Shaikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Ajman club president, said the professional league demanded a lot of hard work and their budget for the coming season will be Dh40 million.
"According to the instructions of the Ruler of Ajman and the Crown Prince, we will sign up the best foreign players as well as Emiratis because we know the competition will be very tough next season," said the Ajman club president.
