Dubai: The brother-sister combination of Tina and Julian Pfeil from Dubai clinched the Audi Quattro Cup Middle East Regional Final held at the Dubai Creek Golf Club recently.
Their back nine score of 42 Stableford points enabled the Pfeil pairing to negotiate their way past Manvir Kochhar and Amit Pateira from Abu Dhabi who also had an identical score of 42. Cliff Wisely and Natalya Wisely came in a close third with 41 points.
"We are very honoured and excited to proceed to the world finals. Audi has done a great job bringing an amateur tournament to the region," stated the Pfeils after the final.
Participants in last week's final had to contest in qualifying tournaments held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait over the past few months. The Audi Quattro Cup World Final will be held in Tenerife in October.
The Audi Quattro Cup is one of the many events brought to the region by the AudiExperience.
Others include the Audi Afterwork Lounges, concerts and also the Audi DrivingExperience Advanced Safety and High Performance Driving courses held at the Dubai Autodrome.
