Dubai: The Dubai World Cup has officially produced five of the world's top 10 racehorses currently in training, led by Invasor, who sits at the top of the pile.

The impressive winner of the $6 million Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates airline, retained his position as the top-ranked racehorse in the world in the latest edition of the World's Leading Horses, which covers the period from December 1, 2006 to June 10, 2007.

Invasor, who is scheduled to compete next in the Grade 1 Suburban Handicap at Belmont on June 30, further strengthened his position as one of the great racehorses of recent times.

His 129 top-rating was allotted by the panel of official handicappers drawn from the major racing nations affiliated to the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA).

Admire Moon, who won the $5 million Dubai Duty Free, sponsored by Dubai Duty Free, is officially the third best horse currently in training on 125, the same mark as the Dubai World Cup runner-up Premium Tap.

Dubai Duty Free's second-placed Linngari is rated 122, as is the hero of the Dubai Sheema Classic, sponsored by Nakheel, Vengeance Of Rain.
