Manila: A massive earthquake measuring magnitude 6.9 struck the ocean off the east coast of the Philippines on Monday night, officials said.
No damages or injuries have been reported following the quake which hit at 10:11pm local time, near central Philippines.
An official tsunami warning was not sent out but officials were advised to watch out for waves along coastal areas.
